About the Developers

Youth for Youth Health was developed by a team of computer scientists at the University of South Carolina as a part of their senior capstone project. The team consists of Katelyn Wyandt, Sophie Azula, Caleb Henry, and Gabriel Blackwell. The team is advised by Dr. Jose Vidal, a professor of computer science at the University of South Carolina. This project is supported and advised by the statewide charitable organization Youth for Youth Health whose initiative is to improve healthy litercy in the state through technology and advocacy. The team is dedicated to creating a safe and secure environment for young people to learn about their health and well-being.

<Katelyn Wyandt>

Katelyn Wyandt is a Junior Computer Science student with a minor in asian studies at the University of South Carolina's Honors College. You can find her github here at,(@kwyandt), and on LinkedIn She is an undergraduate researcher in HI3 Tech Labs and ambassador for the honors college. In her freetime she loves to play card games, learn new art mediums, and travel.

<Sophie Azula>

Sophie Azula is a Senior Computer Science major at the University of South Carolina's Honors College. You can find her on GitHub as (@sophie5612), and on LinkedIn Outside of school, Sophie enjoys working as an undergraduate researcher in HI3 Tech Labs, maintaining her Duolingo streak, and spending time with family and friends.

<Caleb Henry>

Caleb Henry is a Junior Computer Science major at the University of South Carolina's Honors College. You can find him on GitHub as (@calebhenry), and on LinkedIn. When he isn't in the classroom, you can find him working as an undergraduate researcher in HI3 Tech Labs or as an IT assistant at the Honors College. He enjoys travel, astronomy, and cooking in his free time.

<Gabriel Blackwell>

Gabriel Blackwell is a Senior Computer Engineer from the University of South Carolina. You can find him on github under the username (@gblackwell1), and on linkedin. Outside of school, he works as an Student Lab Coordinator at HI3 Tech Labs, there he does all kinds of work from websites, mobile apps, to robots. In his freetime he enjoys taking pictures, travelling, and spending time with his beautiful cat Pierre.
