IngrediScan

IngrediScan is a powerful Android app that is designed to keep your cooking and shopping experience short and simple. To achieve this, IngrediScan integrates the scanning of barcodes to query Spoonacular's Database for recipes that contain that ingredient. The app also allows users to manually search by one or more ingredients, or even by recipe. Choose from a variety of settings, such as specifying diets and intolerances, which are used to limit your searches and to quickly help you find recipes that fit your needs. You can also choose to search for particular meal types, such as breakfast, lunch or dinner, among many other choices.

Our app is designed to quickly and efficiently streamline how you prepare your meals. For instance, if you wanted to cook dinner but only had a couple boxes of spaghetti noodles, you could simply scan the barcode on the items and instantly be shown multiple different recipes that all give you step-by-step instructions on how to prepare them.
