About Flowstart

Flowstart is built to improve upon the popular productivity technique, Pomodoro. Pomodoro involves a person doing focused work for 25 minutes, then taking a 5 minute break in order to minimize fatigue and procrastination. While this technique is widely popular, the strict timer system can break one's flow state while working, making it difficult to begin working again after a break. Flowstart builds upon this system by continuing to use the timer, but in a more flexible way.

In Flowstart, work and break times aren't a strict amount, and are instead based upon your own habits. As you let the work timer run, you earn break time that you can use whenever you feel yourself leaving your flow state and needing a refresh. Your earned break time can be customized with several built-in work:break ratios, or you can create your own.

The other large aspect of Flowstart is the in-app idle game designed to motivate and encourage you. As you use the work timer, you earn in-game points and coins, which can be used to customize your very own Panda avatar. Your Panda can also be shown on the home screen to represent your hard work.

Flowstart also adds further functionality with ability to create tasks and goals for yourself to track and work on, as well as a calendar to map them. Flowstart also records your activity and displays it in a Statistics page, so that you know how you've been using Flowstart

Flowstart also has custom UI to engage without distracting. With features such as light and dark mode, backgrounds, and options for the in-app game, you can make Flowstart perfect for you.
