Cadi is an internship matching application meant to benefit job seekers
and recruiters alike by alleviating some of the disadvantages
associated with the traditional employment process. It is a mobile
solution that is fast, convenient, and maximizes user productivity with
it's "swipe to match" feature.
The app has two types of users. These users can view "cards" holding
a small amount of information pertinent to them about the other party.
It is deliberate that only a select portion of information is availiable
to the recruiter on the student, specifically. This was decided upon
based on the popular notion that job recruiters only spend a matter
of seconds to view a resume. The card of the student is meant to encompass
those seconds. Some types of information on the cards to be displayed are:
field of study, year of education, and skills for the student card and for
the job posting card by the recruiter: position, location, and description.
If a user from both groups "swipes right" with another, a match is formed.
From this match, the users will both be able to message each other and the
full resume of the student will be availiable for viewing by the recruiter.
