What is the Capgemini Taskcard Project?

This project was made to be a tool for aviation mechanics and engineers to easily keep track of the maintenance tasks they are required to do daily. It allows for the easy integration of current practices into one, simple interface where a mechanic can see all of the tasks they are required to do, keep track of the time spent on each task, and keep up with their training.

Mechanic User

A mechanic will be able to log in to the Capgemini Taskcard app every morning and see the work that has been assigned by the lead engineer. These routine tasks are stored in easily readable 'task cards' that have standardized instructions for each routine task, meaning that they will have the directions readily available for each task assigned to them.

Engineer User

An engineer will be able to create 'non-routine' tasks when he sees issues with aircraft that do not already exist within the taskcard system. From there, he is able to write the instructions for exactly what needs to be fixed and how to do so. The Mechanic will then receive this request and be able to follow the steps that the engineer has laid out for them in the app.

Inspector User

Inspectors will be able to inspect the work done by mechanics on tasks that require inspection, and then sign off on said tasks using an 'electronic signature' of sorts, by logging in with their credentials to verify that the task has been properly inspected.
